This committee works to close industry gaps and influence the profession by:

  • Measuring and raising awareness of the barriers women face—inside and outside NAWA

  • Identifying the industry’s most impactful research and building an annual Equity & Representation Report

  • Developing sponsor metrics and reporting frameworks to support data-driven action

Learning & Development

For the educators, mentors, and content-curators.

This committee powers NAWA’s professional and personal growth resources by:

  • Curating educational content and identifying emerging development needs

  • Designing live and virtual learning opportunities that address the biggest challenges actuaries face

  • Supporting programs like MentorMatch and the NAWA Online Learning Center

Partnerships

If you thrive on strategy, relationship-building, and amplifying impact, this committee is for you.

This team drives NAWA’s collaboration and sustainability by:

  • Developing sponsor packages and strategic partnership opportunities

  • Maintaining and growing relationships with sponsors and Corporate Action Council (CAC) members

  • Partnering with other actuarial diversity networks - like IABA, OLA, SAGAA, SANA, and ABACUS - for shared learning and expanded reach
